This site was built to serve one purpose above all others: to help you find your way to this congregation, hear the Word of God preached, and see what the Lord is doing in and through this church.
Whether you are a longtime member, a visitor who worshipped with us recently, or someone who simply typed “church near Tumbling Shoals” into a search engine — welcome. We hope what you find here gives you a clear picture of who we are and what we are about.
What You Will Find Here
The site is organized around the questions people actually ask before visiting a church for the first time:
Who are you? The About page introduces our pastor, our history, and the convictions that shape everything we do. We have been gathering around the Word of God in Tumbling Shoals since 1989, and we are not shy about what we believe.
What do you believe? Our Statement of Faith lays out our convictions plainly. We hold to the historic Baptist faith: the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture, justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, the sovereignty of God in salvation, and the authority of the local church.
Can I visit? The Visit Us page tells you everything you need to know — service times, what a typical Sunday looks like, what to expect, and how to find us. We are located on Hwy 25 N, two miles north of the Greers Ferry Dam.
Where are the sermons? Every sermon preached at TSBC is available on our Sermons page, linked to both YouTube and SermonAudio. Pastor Mark preaches verse by verse through books of the Bible. If you have never heard expository preaching before, we encourage you to listen.
A Word from Pastor Mark
I am excited to launch this new website. I pray that much ministry will be accomplished and the Word of God will be spread far beyond the walls of our church building. I would invite you to join us for worship on any given Sunday and see if TSBC might be the place the Lord wants you to grow and serve through. Glory to God!
